LAUNCHING PROGRAMS SINCE 2002

Since 2002 HBB’S leadership has been launching programs in under-resourced communities that bring

hope to youth and their families. In 2009 HBB incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)3 and has continued to

train leaders and launch programs in communities around the globe. Here are what the leaders of some

of our current and launched programs are saying about their experience with HBB:

Jordan

“Steve and Stefanie Wilson birthed the Bridge Academy and Community Center in 2001.  By 2002, a separate 501 (c) 3 and Board of Directors was established, as well as a permanent location secured in Coatesville, PA. Under their leadership, the building was transformed into a community center that could offer educational and creative arts opportunities to hundreds of students in Coatesville. Steve and Stef directed the Bridge until 2008, establishing the foundations of a center that continues to serve the community today!”

Jordan Crans, Executive Director / Bridge Academy and Community Center

“The happiness, joy including good health of the entire community has been as a result of drinking clean water from the taps. Development has taken place in terms of infrastructure; houses, shops and school due to availability of water. Water has created self-employment to youths through making local bricks for sale and people are growing vegetable gardens at their homes! Thanks to you, HBB, this is only one of many projects!”

“The library (closed until new facility is completed) and tutoring have brought increase in high school passing rate from 20% to 65% due to library use and tutoring, and I can cite some of the kids who have done very well: Albert Chileshe, James Nkhata, Maybin Silungwe and many more. We hope to re-establish this department in near future.”

"Hope Beyond Borders 501c3 status, strong administrative infrastructure, and shared resources enabled my organization to grow from vision to reality in a short period of time.  Over the course of 3 years Coatesville Kids to College grew from one program serving six children a day to five programs serving over 60 children and youth daily and over 100 annually."

Keith Wilburn / Executive Director, Coatesville Kids to College

As President of The Movement, coming under HBB’s umbrella to incubate and grow The Movement was a Godsend. It provided us with insight in how our organization should be set up, and how we as an organization could better serve our community. It gave us the ability to collect funds that would serve our community’s needs. Great help in forming a vision, goals and action steps to move us towards that very goal. Networking and partnering with HBB also opened us up to partnering and learning of other initiatives that were worthwhile pursuits in our community. HBB Brothers for life!

"Bright Beginnings Preschool was looking for a Christian, community based organization to operate our ministry under.  Hope Beyond Borders supported our preschool's philosophy and values, and gave us the supportive services and covering needed to continue to operate this vital ministry in the city of Coatesville. In addition, HBB facilitated the process that brought Bright Beginnings into the newly forming Coatesville Kids to College program!"
