In our increasingly diverse and racialized schools, this interactive seminar establishes a safe space for learning and discussion around common stereotypes and prejudice that students encounter daily. Students who attend this seminar will emerge better equipped to handle cross-cultural relationships in their school, community and workplace.

The Cultural Competency Seminar is offered as an eight or ten 1-hour modules and follows the following outline:

1.) Admit that a problem exists.
2.) Submit to working toward productive outcomes when encountering prejudice and stereotypes.
3.) Commit to being game changers in school, the community and the workplace when encountering prejudice and stereotypes.
